If you’re in a musical mood and looking for a fun outing, there’s a great option just down the road from Lighthouse. The Howard County Historical Society (HCHS) will be offering the latest performance of its Music in the Museum Concert Series, as it presents the Showtime Singers.
The ShowTime Singers seek to stage high-quality musical performances for the community at large, enjoying both a cappella and accompanied singing. They specialize in songs that audiences can easily relate to—and perhaps even sing along with—like Broadway tunes, standards, patriotic music, and even a little rock and roll. They are an all-volunteer, mixed voice adult choral group hailing from all over central Maryland and D.C
You can enjoy some great music at the museum for a special Sunday afternoon performance at 3:30 p.m. on May 3rd. Tickets are $10, or free for society members. Refreshments will be served. For additional information, call 410-480-3250 or email info@hchsmd.org.
