Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Services

The Village at Lighthouse Senior Living is a specifically designed, self-contained "neighborhood" for those Residents experiencing memory impairment as a result of Alzheimer's Disease and other dementia related illnesses. The Village has recently undergone an expansion to accomodate 25 residents. Potential Residents and their families are welcome to take a tour.

Our caring staff bring a holistic approach to the Village and its Residents. One of the greatest features of the Village is the existence of a support group for the families of dementia Residents. The support group features speakers and discussions of any and all topics related to caring for a family member with dementia. Participation is not limited to Lighthouse Residents - it is open to the public.

Individualized and flexible programs focusing on the well being of the Residents.

We encourage family and friends to participate in the programs and activities with their loved ones in our efforts to provide a sense of purpose, pleasure, acceptance and belonging. Residents of the Village participate in community-wide entertainment and excursions, but also enjoy programs and activities geared specifically toward them, including crafts, artwork, gardening, visits to their old homes and more. The Village includes a beautiful, secure outdoor courtyard for Residents to enjoy.
