The Move In Process
The Move In Process

Family Visit
Everyone involved in your move is invited to visit Lighthouse prior to your move-in. Visiting during regular business hours will allow you to see our community in full swing. You'll see residents participating in a full range of daily activities and get to meet your professional and caring staff.

Physical Exam and Assessment
A physical exam prior to admission will help us fully understand your needs and provide the best care possible. Within 30 days prior to admission, all residents must undergo a physician's exam including a tuberculosis test, a chest x-ray and a complete State Physician Assessment Form. The completed form must be submitted to Lighthouse Senior Living 48 hours prior to move-in. In addition, our trained coordinators will perform a health assessment to ensure we understand and address all your medical and social needs. This allows us to provide relevant and personalized support when you need it.

The Lease
The move-in process is completed with the Residency Agreement. The term of this agreement is one year, but can be terminated under certain conditions with 30 days written notice. We also need to have copies of important documents on file, including Power of Attorney, Living Will, Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order, Medicare cards and Private Insurance cards.

Moving In
We want to make your move in as simple as possible.   Please take a moment to review this general information on the next steps...

  • We prefer that you move in Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. While there is staff on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we have full managerial support available during business hours. If a weekend move is unavoidable, we will make every effort to accommodate you. We want this transition to be as smooth as possible and will work with you in any way possible toward that end.
