Lighthouse Senior Living provides assisted living and memory care through its communities in Middle River and Ellicott City. Our Hopkins Creek facility partners with Genesis Rehab Services to provide physical, occupational and speech therapy on-site so residents can receive needed therapies without leaving their community.
Genesis Rehab’s parent, Genesis HealthCare (www.Genesishcc.com), is a company known for its quality and innovations. Genesis Rehabilitation Services currently operates in 27 states. Specialized training enables therapists to provide care to those with complex diagnoses, helping them overcome deficits that result from illness, disease, disability, injury, surgery or the aging process.
The new Rehabilitation Gyms at each Lighthouse Senior Living community include state-of-the-art equipment that permit a wide range of treatment options. Residents will also benefit from Revital Care program, a partnership between Genesis Rehab and Accelerated Care Plus, that uses electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and short wave diathermy. This therapy helps control pain and promote healing by increasing blood flow to damaged muscle areas..
