A special place offering specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia care
The Village at Lighthouse Senior Living in Ellicott City is a specifically designed, self-contained “neighborhood” for residents experiencing memory impairment as a result of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia related illnesses. The Village has recently undergone an expansion to accommodate 25 Residents, and it features a beautiful, secure outdoor courtyard. Tours are welcome and easy to arrange.

Our caring staff brings a holistic approach to the Village and its Residents. A support group for families features speakers and discussions of topics related to dementia. Support group participation is open to the public.
Individualized care
Residents of the Village participate in individually designed entertainments and excursions. They enjoy programs and activities geared specifically toward their needs and interests, including crafts, artwork, gardening, visits to their former homes and more. We encourage family participation in programs and activities. It builds a sense of purpose, pleasure, acceptance and belonging. It brightens lives.
