The Move in process

Our goal is to make move in as simple and enjoyable as possible.   Please take a moment to review this general information on the next steps.

Family visit

Everyone involved in the move is invited to visit beforehand. Visiting during regular business hours allow you to see our community in full swing. You’ll see residents participating in a full range of daily activities and get to meet the people who will provide professional and administrative care for you or your loved one.

Physical exam and assessment

Please plan to complete a physical exam prior to admission. This helps us plan to provide the best and most personalized care possible.

When to move in

Preferred move-in times are Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, when we are fully staffed and most able to assist, answer questions and welcome new residents. If a weekend move is unavoidable, we’ll work with you. We want this transition to be as smooth as possible and will work with you in any way possible toward that end.

We provide basic cable service. If you desire premium channels, please make arrangements by contacting Comcast Cable at 888-266-2278.

Please label all clothing brought into Lighthouse Senior Living.

While we have scheduled transportation at Lighthouse Senior Living, we do ask your assistance in planning for doctor’s appointments. Residents and their families are responsible for scheduling appointments and confirming method of transportation.

Feel free to bring linens (sheets, towels, wash cloths and bath mats) but please be aware that we can provide these items if so desired.

The Lease

The move-in process is completed with a one-year Residency Agreement. Please contact the Lighthouse for details about leases and required documents.
